This variety pack of 6 historic postcards shows a diverse sample of the over 300,000 photographs held by the Historical Society. Each pack includes one postcard each of:

  • Captain John Inkima, who piloted the mission steamer Oregon on the Congo River for the Disciples of Christ Mission in 1947.
     
  • Dr. Jue Hawk, who worked with the Oregon Chinese at the Portland Mission from 1892 to 1900.
     
  • A baptism near Stillwater, Oklahoma, circa 1890.
     
  • Clara Hale Babcock, the first ordained minister of the Stone-Campbell heritage.
     
  • A baseball team at Southern Christian Institute near Edwards, Mississippi.
     
  • Dr. Albert L. Shelton, founder of the first Christian Hospital in Tibet.
